From August 16 to 18, 2025, I took part in the Festival International des Artistes de Rue de Vevey in Switzerland. This event is one of the most prestigious street performance festivals in the world. The organizers received more than 450 applications to establish their selection of 20 artists from the 4 corners of the world.
The pace was intense, with 7 shows in 3 days at different locations around the city. After a presentation of the festival and a meeting with the other artists, I play my first show , which goes off perfectly. I’ m super motivated by the festival, the audience is responding really well and my circle is pretty big.
For 3 days, I presented Goa to over 1500 spectators, some of whom came back to see me several times. On the streets of Vevey, the Goa show seduced young and old alike, drawing smiles, sending shivers down the spines of some, and moving others to tears. Unfortunately, the weather disrupted the evening shows, and I had to perform in the rain. Complicated conditions, but I obviously didn’t give up.
When the podium was announced, I took bronze (third place behind the 4 Malaysian diabolists from the “Double V” company and the 6 dancers from “Soul Project”). I’m delighted to have been voted best solo artist of this year’s edition, since managing the rhythm of a street show is much more difficult alone, especially on a 45-minute show.
The intense pace of the festival meant that we only got to see a few shows by other other companies , but all the artists were very good.
On this trip, I was accompanied by my partner Tania , who captured these magical moments on video.
